Job summary

GAP Group, via GAP Power Solutions, is seeking a Regional Generator Engineer based at our Warrington depot. You will service, maintain and repair a range of Stage V generators up to 500KVA, and attend on-site breakdowns to keep customers supplied when they need us most.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Generator Engineer is essential.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and generators is highly desirable, with full training provided on specialist equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work under pressure.
• Customer-focused approach and team player attitude.
• A valid driving licence is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain equipment in the workshop and at customer sites.
• Attend breakdowns on customer sites for our stage V generators, AMF/MDU and distribution & cable equipment.
• Accurately update service records and ensure equipment is ready for hire.
