Job summary

GAP Power Solutions, part of GAP Pump Services, provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for our Stage V generator fleet and related equipment. We are seeking a Regional Generator Engineer to ensure customers can hire what they need when they need it through efficient servicing and maintenance of power equipment up to 500 KVA within the GAP fleet.

The role is based at our Warrington depot and involves workshop work plus attending customer site breakdowns, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a Diesel Generator Engineer role is essential
• Sound and current knowledge of diesel engines and generators is highly desirable however full training will be provided on our specialist equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A customer-focussed approach workload and committed team player
• A valid driving would be preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve and maintain equipment in the workshop and attend breakdowns on customer sites.
• Work on Stage V Generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable.
• Accurately updating service records.
