Regional Fundraising Manager – London
Action For Humanity (AFH) is a UK-registered Muslim humanitarian organisation delivering emergency relief and long-term development programmes globally. We are seeking a full-time Regional Fundraising Manager to lead income generation and donor development across the London region and surrounding areas.
Role Overview
This is a sales-intensive fundraising role within a mission-driven Islamic charity context. You will be responsible for growing donor income, building supporter networks, and expanding AFH's fundraising presence across London and the South. The role is remote-based with occasional travel to our Manchester head office.
Key Responsibilities
- Income Generation – Maximise fundraising income across multiple channels: direct response campaigns, corporate partnerships, community events, and major gifts
- Proactively cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, companies, and organisations
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual income targets
- Regional Supporter Development – Build and develop volunteer fundraising teams across the London region
- Provide regular donor reports and stewardship communications
- Monitor regional progress against income targets and adjust activity accordingly
- External Profile & Communications – Act as an ambassador for AFH's mission with donors and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and donor materials
- Represent AFH at community events, mosque fundraising drives, and public engagements
- Compliance & Operations – Operate in line with AFH's internal fundraising policies and the UK Fundraising Regulator's Code of Conduct
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree-level education (preferred)
- Fundraising or sales certification (beneficial)
- Demonstrated track record of income generation success in the charity or sales sector
- Ability to cultivate and grow donor or client networks from scratch
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Numeracy and data-driven approach to monitoring performance
- Resilience and problem-solving orientation
- Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work
