Job summary

Child Bereavement UK is seeking a Remote Regional Fundraising Lead to deliver a regional fundraising strategy, recruit community supporters, manage partnerships and grow the challenge events portfolio across the South and wider UK.

You will plan, market, deliver and grow your portfolio, focusing on cost-effective growth, risk management and meeting financial objectives. Travel across the region and UK-wide meetings will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, sales, partnerships, business development, or community engagement.
• Ability to work remotely with travel across regions and UK-wide meetings.
• Ability to plan and grow income, manage budgets and contribute to forecasts.
• Experience in community fundraising or charity income generation.
• Experience of managing volunteers and working with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of a fundraising plan to maximise income generation across the designated area, in line with the overall fundraising strategy.
• Build knowledge of supporters in the area and develop a community of supporters with a tangible relationship to our work.
• Build relationships with individuals, community organisations, faith groups, schools, education facilities, regional corporates and challenge event participants.
• Contribute to annual income and expenditure budgets, monitor results and participate in reforecasts and contingency planning.
• Attract new support and nurture existing supporters, ensuring excellent stewardship and donor journey.
• Collaborate with teams to develop fundraising initiatives, campaigns and events to engage supporters.
• Develop and implement marketing and social media plans for events/activities.
• Analyse risks and ROI to focus effort accordingly.
• Ensure activities comply with charity law, GDPR, and data protection.
• Maintain accurate information in the CRM and the charity website community section.
• Recruit fundraising committees and community ambassadors to grow the network.
