Job description

The Regional Finance Manager will deliver strategic financial business partnering services in support of a portfolio of our Middle East country programmes. The aim of the role is to proactively manage accounting tasks to ensure compliance with internal and donor requirements, optimize financial efficiency, and support the region’s programmatic goals. You will provide financial analysis, strategic guidance, and technical support to promote transparency, integrity, accountability, and effective financial management practices.

About you:

You will:

1. Have significant financial experience in either commercial or NGO sectors;
2. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across diverse teams and cultures;
3. Have advanced proficiency in Excel to enhance business processes and reporting;
4. Possess exceptional analytical skills, including interpreting complex financial data and communicating findings clearly to both finance and non-finance personnel;
5. Be skilled in proactive problem-solving with an innovative, solution-oriented approach;
6. Be flexible to travel to remote and insecure locations at short notice;
7. Be committed to maintaining high-quality standards, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
