We have been instructed to find a professional Regional Finance Manager to join our client, an expanding logistics business near Avonmouth.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Finance Manager, collaborating with the client, sales, and operational teams to provide accurate analysis of forecast and actual costs. This ensures the financial implications of key projects are understood from the outset and well tracked during delivery.

Your impact will lead to improved transparent reporting, drive effective decision-making, ensure course correction, and help maximize commercial return. The role reports to the Head of Finance, with a dotted line to the commercial team, and is based in the office at least 4 days a week, with some flexibility in working hours.

Key responsibilities:

1. Act as a strategic Finance Manager, providing financial support and guidance to stakeholders including marketing, sales, and operational teams.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with non-finance staff to understand their needs and objectives.
3. Provide financial analysis and insights, identifying trends and opportunities to drive performance, mainly within stock.
4. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, offering input and guidance to the business.

Key requirements:

1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance; QBE options will also be considered.
2. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and analyze business performance.
3. Experience within the logistics sector, capable of working under pressure during busy periods.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
