Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to service and repair 2-post and 4-post lifts and tyre changers across a regional coverage area, ensuring safety and reliability.

This home-based role mainly covers North London and Essex, offering £30,000–£40,000 basic with OTE £55,000, a company car, and door-to-door pay; full training will bring hydraulic and electrical skills up to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing garage equipment such as 2-post lifts, 4-post lifts and tyre changers.
• Strong mechanical background with basic electrical fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to travel and work regionally in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and repairs on 2‑post lifts, 4‑post lifts and tyre changers across your region.
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults and perform safe, compliant repairs.
• Maintain strong relationships with site managers and provide clear service updates.
