Job summary

Vector Recruitment Ltd seeks a Field Service Engineer for CHP and power generation across London and the South East. The role involves maintenance, fault finding and repairs on gas engines and CHP installations, with on-site and remote diagnostics and strong customer relationship building.

You will work in a regional service team, covering London and the South East, with on-call duties and full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background with fault-finding skills.
• Experience maintaining engines, generators, or heavy industrial equipment.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance of CHP and power generation equipment.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Breakdown response and reactive maintenance.
• On-site and remote diagnostics.
• Service reporting and maintenance documentation.
• Building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service.
• Participation in an on-call rota.
