Job summary

Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Regional Field Operations Manager to lead a nationwide team of field engineers and oversee maintenance of communal heating systems across the Northern region.

Based in Yorkshire with a hybrid work arrangement (Home/Site/Office), you will manage up to 10 engineers, ensure training and resources, and drive health and safety compliance, service quality and continuous improvement while controlling budgets and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading remote engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of communal heating systems.
• Familiarity with AMR technologies and prepayment systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multi-site, multi-client operations.
• Willingness to obtain IOSH qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nationwide team of field engineers to high performance.
• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance of communal heating systems.
• Ensure resources, training and equipment meet service levels.
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Conduct audits to uphold quality and efficiency.
• Plan operations, streamline processes and drive innovation.
• Monitor compliance with policies, contracts and safety.
• Collaborate with regional teams, contractors and scheduling.
• Report KPIs and performance trends monthly.
• Support contract delivery and revenue growth within budget.
• Oversee risk assessments, method statements and stock control.
