Job summary

A leading soft drinks business is seeking an Export Director for the Middle East & APAC, with location and salary negotiable plus package. You will own the MEA/APAC commercial strategy, drive growth, and build the distribution network across key markets.

You will bring hands-on leadership, an established network with distributors and retailers, and a track record of scaling brands in FMCG beverages while collaborating with global teams to deliver sustainable revenue and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven beverage industry experience in Middle East & APAC with strong commercial background.
• Track record of growing sales, distribution and market share in FMCG/beverage markets.
• Strong US network across distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key trade partners.
• Expertise in route-to-market including distributors, wholesale, direct sales and DSD.
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on leader capable of in-market execution.
• Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Strategic thinker with ability to convert growth strategy into actionable priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own MEA commercial growth strategy with targets.
• Lead growth across priority states, identify key customers and channels.
• Build and optimise route-to-market including DSD models.
• Appoint and manage distribution partners with clear plans and KPIs.
• Build on-premise and off-premise relationships, secure listings and promotions.
• Negotiate with major retailers and joint business plans to accelerate growth.
• Own sales forecasting, budgets and profitability.
• Provide market intelligence to shape strategy and opportunities.
• Collaborate with global leadership across marketing, supply chain and finance.
