Job summary

Polaris Education invites applications for an Executive Headteacher to lead the South East and East of England region. Reporting to the Managing Director of Education, the role oversees up to six schools and drives improvement, SEND provision and strategic school development.

The successful candidate will implement the Care Connect Consolidate strategy across the portfolio, work with the central team, and ensure strong educational outcomes while maintaining Polaris’ values and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in curriculum and school improvement
• Experience with SEND and inclusion
• Commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for up to six schools in the region and oversee curriculum delivery and improvement
• Lead the opening of new schools, including regulatory compliance and staffing
• Develop and implement Care Connect Consolidate and other regional strategies
• Line manage Headteachers and support professional development for SLT
• Oversee safeguarding, regulatory compliance (ISS/Ofsted) and governance across the portfolio
• Collaborate with central Polaris leadership to ensure resourcing and performance targets are met
• Drive stakeholder engagement with local authorities and industry partners
