Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is seeking a full-time Early Years Field Chef based from Harwell with travel across nurseries in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Bristol. You will cook nutritious meals, respect dietary needs and maintain safe kitchen practices, reporting to the Central and London Division.

The role requires a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary starts from £30,368 per annum, plus travel mileage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a commercial catering role.
• Passion for nutrition and healthy eating.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food allergies.
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above – to be passed on day 1.
• COSHH knowledge.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, children and parents.
• Willingness to travel across multiple sites with own transport and clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nurseries within a region to cover staff absence or holidays.
• Prepare, cook and present age-appropriate meals with minimal wastage.
• Ensure dietary requirements are communicated clearly to nursery teams.
• Maintain accurate kitchen records and a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist nursery management with food ordering and stock control.
