Job summary

EVEREC in the UK is seeking a Regional Director of Business Development to lead sales for data centre cooling using heat pump-based chiller technology. You will build and manage a robust pipeline, targeting data centre operators, hyperscalers, and M&E consultants with strong internal support.

The role emphasizes technical credibility, relationship quality, and commercial execution, with full UK driving licence recommended and uncapped earning potential via commission plus car allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in commercial heat pumps, chillers, or data centre cooling in a current or recent role.
• Background from a manufacturer, specialist distributor, or consultancy.
• Good knowledge of market drivers behind demand such as data centre growth and energy efficiency.
• Comfortable engaging with M&E consultants, engineers and project managers as well as commercial decision makers.
• Self-motivated with a track record of building and converting your own pipeline.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across the data centre cooling market, positioning heat pump-based chiller solutions.
• Build relationships with data centre operators, colocation and hyperscale providers, M&E consultants, and facilities management teams.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to specification, tender, and close.
• Present and position the heat pump/chiller technology against competing cooling solutions.
• Develop and maintain your own pipeline through proactive outreach, events, and referral networks.
• Work with the technical team on proposals, tenders, and project delivery.
