What you'll do

This is a dedicated sales and business development role where you will work closely with your internal Business, Commercial, and Corporate Relationship Manager bank colleagues at a senior level. You’ll provide training and product awareness coaching to teams, equipping them with the right level of knowledge, enabling them to identify customer needs, and then introduce these bank customers to you. We’ll look to you to promote and sell the Mentor service B2B and onboard these newly introduced customers to Mentor, delivering sustainable new business income objectives for the Mentor business.

Your key duties will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships to support the generation of quality lead referrals.
  • Delivering a balanced range of services sold to meet the wider needs of our customers in an appropriate manner.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely feedback is provided to all lead providers.
The skills you'll need

You’ll have previous experience in a B2B customer sales role and be skilled at self-generating new business opportunities through an effective, collaborative approach with colleagues. You’ll also need to have strong analytical skills to assess sales management MI and identify trends and potential solutions.

We’ll also want to see:

  • A tenacious, results-focused approach to meeting business income objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organization skills.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative.
