JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Vice President, Control Manager within the Regional Chief Data Office to oversee data risk processes and controls across the region.

You will translate risk requirements into clear policies and partner with business, risk, and control teams to identify gaps and drive remediation. In this role you will collaborate with the Regional Chief Data Officer, control management teams, and the Data Office to assess risk, reflect controls in the risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of financial services experience in controls, audit, risk management, data management, or compliance.
• Ability to assess risk, prioritize work, engage senior leaders, and manage change.
• Experience partnering across organizations to analyze, design, and implement risk and control practices.
• Demonstrated ability to influence a strong risk culture, including presenting to senior management.
• Strong understanding of the three lines of defense model in banking institutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including building clear executive-level materials.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, make informed decisions, influence stakeholders, and explain rationale.
• Preferred: professional working proficiency in Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Develop and oversee data management processes, risks, and controls, including evaluating design changes.
• Partner with Control Management teams and the Regional CDO to complete risk assessments.
• Ensure key controls are reflected in the risk and control assessment platform.
• Collaborate to create and maintain control management framework documentation.
• Support assessment of current-state controls to drive remediation.
• Foster a community of practice for data control managers across functions.
• Review reporting and metrics to identify emerging risks or themes.
• Prepare materials and responses for regulatory queries and meetings.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Audit to support tests and audits.
