Job summary

West Midlands Combined Authority is seeking a proactive Member Engagement Executive to support councillors across the region. You will help briefing, communications, and events, bridging policy with local communities and ensuring engagement is clear, open and effective.

In this fast-paced role you’ll coordinate stakeholder relationships, manage member communications, and use CRM and PowerBI to track engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in a political environment with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, able to present information clearly and professionally.
• Attention to detail and ability to extract actionable insights from stakeholder data.

Responsibilities

• Support briefing and engaging Constituent Authority Leaders and Chief Executives.
• Coordinate political engagement linked to WMCA Board decisions and regional priorities.
• Support relationship management through Near Neighbours programme.
