Job summary

Gross Stb is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Herts, Beds, Bucks and Northants from its Milton Keynes base. You will identify new business opportunities, maximize revenue from existing accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships in the construction/plant hire sector.

The role requires strong selling, negotiation and planning skills, with weekly travel and a proven track record in field sales. A target-driven mindset and excellent communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or plant hire preferred.
• Strong business development and forward planning abilities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships for long-term rental projects.
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly motivated, target driven and self-motivated.
• Track record in field sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Maximise revenue from existing customer accounts.
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Negotiate with customers to secure best price for both company and customer.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by being available for queries.
• Visit and present to new and existing clients.
• Weekly travel planning and reporting.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and market trends.
