Job summary

Cotech Building Careers is seeking an Operations Director to lead the Northern region of a fast-paced construction business. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will drive profitable growth, P&L performance, and safe on-time delivery across multiple projects.

You will manage diverse teams, develop pre-construction and mobilisation plans, and cultivate strong client and stakeholder relationships to expand market share in line with ambitious growth targets by 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering public sector construction projects in framework environments.
• Ability to navigate client, supply chain and external stakeholder landscapes.
• Proven track record of leading diverse and inclusive teams to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional operations, delivering high-quality construction projects and profitable growth across the region.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business expansion.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and progression opportunities.
• Collaborate with pre-construction to develop work-winning strategies and mobilise programmes.
• Represent the business with public sector and private clients, building new relationships.
