Job summary

Cotech Building Careers is seeking an Operations Director to lead the Northern regional business, delivering high-quality construction projects and profitable growth. You will drive delivery, client relationships, and a high-performance team culture while reporting to the Regional Director.

You will oversee a multi-project portfolio, set ambitious targets, collaborate with pre-construction on work-winning strategies, and ensure safe, on-time delivery across public sector and private sector

Qualifications

Experience delivering public sector construction projects in framework environments.
Collaborative influencer capable of navigating client, supply chain and external stakeholders.
Proven track record coaching and leading diverse, inclusive teams to deliver.
Emotionally intelligent leader responsible for people, customers, safety and operations.
Experience setting clear goals to drive business execution.
Clear, authentic communicator who motivates high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of projects within the region across a diverse portfolio.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships and identify expansion opportunities.
Lead, manage and inspire a high-performing team with development opportunities.
Work with pre-construction to develop work-winning strategies and mobilisation programmes.
Represent the business with public sector and private clients and build new relationships.
