Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead clinical governance and quality across several care homes in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. You will partner with regional leaders to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

You will review governance data, drive improvements, organise training, and support recruitment of senior clinical staff, with travel across the region required to implement actions and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse RN (General) with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Experience in a care home setting with mentoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support clinical governance and quality of care across multiple homes.
• Review monthly governance databases and KPIs; analyse results and propose practical improvements.
• Organise training, support recruitment of senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations.
• Collaborate with Regional Director and senior staff to implement actions and improve care standards.
