Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Regional Chef to provide culinary leadership across Workplace, Health, and Education sites in the North. You will lead operations, support mobilisations, and coach kitchen teams while upholding high culinary standards.

The role requires strong leadership, multi-site experience, and a focus on food safety, menu development, and cost control. A driving licence and willingness to travel regionally are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or similar senior culinary role.
• Experience in contract catering, education, healthcare, or multi-site environments.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a passion for developing people.
• Excellent culinary knowledge with commitment to nutritious food.
• Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide culinary leadership across multiple Workplace, Health and Education sites.
• Support sites with operational challenges, chef shortages, mobilisations and service improvements.
• Coach, mentor and develop kitchen teams to high standards.
• Support menu development, recipes standardisation, allergen management and nutrition.
• Drive food quality, presentation, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site visits, audits and quality reviews to identify improvements.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and safety requirements.
• Assist with stock management, food cost control and purchasing compliance.
• Build relationships with operational leaders, clients and site teams.
• Contribute to new contract mobilisations and regional projects.
