Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support our Midlands and Northwest region. You will oversee daily culinary operations, lead a kitchen team, and ensure nutritionally balanced meals within budget across multiple homes.

The role demands strong leadership, extensive culinary experience, and solid knowledge of health and safety regulations. Travel across the region is involved, with DBS checks and UK eligibility verification required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' culinary experience in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH requirements.
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent catering qualification.
• Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for Home Manager approval.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers within budget.
• Supervise kitchen staff and Host team, guiding basic food prep.
• Adhere to Avery Food Safety Management system and high hygiene standards.
