Job summary

Blue Ribbon is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead our supported living and residential services across the region. You will oversee daily operations, drive quality and compliance, mentor a team of managers, and drive growth and improvement with a person-centred approach.

The role requires senior leadership experience in social care, knowledge of MCA/DoLS/Safeguarding and strong financial & people management skills. Travel and flexible work arrangements are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a Regional Manager or senior role within social care or healthcare.
• In-depth knowledge of learning disabilities services, MCA, DoLS, Safeguarding, CQC, health and safety.
• Demonstrable financial and people management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team to enhance service performance and integrate new services.
• Champion quality assurance and compliance across services.
• Conduct monthly service audits, develop KPIs, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Provide expert advice and professional guidance across your portfolio.
• Foster a transparent culture that empowers staff and promotes continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead change initiatives, manage budgets, and support financial performance with the Finance team.
• Chair monthly quality/risk meetings and oversee action plans.
