Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Bank Chef to support culinary operations across our homes. You will lead a culinary team, plan nutritionally balanced menus, and ensure meals meet residents' needs while staying within budget.

You will travel to various homes across the north, supervise kitchen staff and the Host team, and uphold high hygiene standards using the Avery Food Safety Management system. A DBS Disclosure check is required and costs covered by Avery.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a busy kitchen with strong leadership.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations including COSHH.
• NVQ 3 in Food Production or equivalent qualifications required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced menu plans for approval and manage dietary needs.
• Place food orders with approved suppliers within budget.
• Supervise kitchen staff and Host team, training unqualified staff.
• Maintain high hygiene standards with the Avery Food Safety Management system.
