Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd is seeking a Business Development focused role, based at home in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on growing contracts regionally by building strategic employer partnerships, identifying opportunities, and delivering sustained growth for designated contracts.

You will manage lead generation, attend networking events, and collaborate with marketing to drive campaigns while using CRM for forecasting and progression to onboarding and delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in customer service, business development, or sales management (essential).
• GCSE English and Maths (A*-C) (essential).
• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle and business-use insurance (essential).
• Level 4 Management qualification (desirable).
• IOSH Health and Safety qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Promote Acorn Training's services and training programmes.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and run campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, partners and stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of learners, employers and referral partners.
• Own pipeline from lead generation to closing sales.
• Document progress in CRM and daily forecasting.
• Ensure smooth transition from sale to onboarding and delivery.
• Attend networking events to understand regional needs.
• Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and drive customer satisfaction.
