Job summary

Innovus is seeking a Building Surveyor to cover a regional portfolio across Berkshire and Hampshire. The role involves survey work, project delivery, CPD within a collaborative surveying team, and development of new opportunities under the guidance of the Regional Surveying and Projects Manager.

The successful candidate will possess MRICS/MCIOB or equivalent and a technical surveying background in property management, with strong communication and contractor management skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified building surveyor with MRICS/ MCIOB or equivalent
• Degree or HND in Surveying or related discipline
• Substantial technical surveying experience in property management environments

Responsibilities

• Surveying properties and preparing specifications of works
• Preparing documentation in accordance with CDM 2015 and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Ensuring major works align with company procedures and legal requirements including Section 20 consultation
• Supervising works to buildings ensuring customer care and high-quality workmanship
• Supporting contract and consultant performance management and fostering client relationships
• Carrying out CPD per professional body requirements and delivering CPD within the team
• Identifying business opportunities and assisting in securing new external clients
• Ensuring effective communications between major works and surveying teams
• Owning improvement projects to develop team capability and product offering
