Job summary

Innovus in Norwich is seeking a Building Surveyor to deliver surveying projects across the East Anglia region. The role focuses on technical surveying, producing specifications, and supervising contractor performance while reporting to the Regional Surveying and Projects Manager.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Surveying with MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent, and have substantial Property Management experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Surveying or related building subject with MRICS/MCIOB or equivalent.
• Substantial surveying experience in Property Management with diverse building types.
• Proven project delivery experience managing contractors and consultants.
• Knowledge of Section 20, CDM 2015 and H&S regulations.

Responsibilities

• Survey properties and prepare work specifications.
• Prepare documentation per CDM 2015 and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage major works per company procedures and Landlord & Tenant Act 1985.
• Supervise works to ensure high standards and customer care.
• Collaborate with partners to improve service, value and quality.
• Undertake CPD and share knowledge within the surveying team.
• Identify new business opportunities with external clients.
• Coordinate with core client major works team for communication.
• Lead improvement projects to enhance capability and offering.
• Support Surveying and Projects Managers as required.
