Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Regional Building Surveyor to manage a portfolio of residential properties, delivering surveys, inspections, and planned maintenance across the region.

You'll ensure homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard, with responsibilities including property inspections, defect diagnosis, contractor management, and overseeing refurbishment and compliance projects. Strong communication with residents and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within social housing, local authority, consultancy, or residential property sectors.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ability to manage projects from survey through to completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and reports.
• Manage contractors and monitor quality on site.
• Oversee planned maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance projects.
• Support disrepair cases, void properties, and capital investment programmes.
• Liaise with residents, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
