Job summary

Innovus is seeking a Building Surveyor to contribute to market-leading services for the UK property sector. You will undertake surveying activities, deliver projects, and support the Regional Surveying and Projects Manager on technically intensive tasks.

The role requires MRICS/MCIOB or equivalent and a degree in surveying, with 35 hours/week and a Monday–Friday schedule. Salaries include a car allowance; based in Norfolk area.

Qualifications

• Substantial surveying experience in property management environments.
• Proven ability to deliver projects with contractors and consultants.
• Good commercial understanding of surveying practices and performance.
• Knowledge of H&S regulations relevant to surveying and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Survey properties and prepare specifications of works.
• Prepare documentation in line with CDM 2015 and regulatory standards.
• Ensure major works comply with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Supervise works to maintain customer care and contractor performance.
• Support business development and build external client relationships.
• Engage in CPD activities and share knowledge with the team.
• Identify new business opportunities and assist in bids.
• Coordinate with major works teams to ensure good communications.
• Lead improvement projects for team capability and offerings.
• Carry out other duties to ensure efficient team operation.
