About The Role

Are you a Surveyor with proven experience and qualifications? Do you have experience working within the social housing sector or a desire to? We want to hear from you.

We have an exciting opportunity for Regional Building Surveyors to join our talented team. This role involves overseeing the regional housing stock to facilitate effective maintenance of LiveWest's growing housing portfolio. The successful candidates will work closely with all Property Services departments, the investment team, and the Day-to-Day repairs team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide detailed resolutions and project management for complex repairs and issues relating to our customers' properties.
2. Offer an informed surveying role with detailed knowledge of the housing stock, working in close liaison with other departments.
3. Ensure liaison with customers, clients, and external agencies involved in specified projects, providing technical advice and guidance. Undertake site visits to monitor works.

This role is full-time, permanent, working 37 hours per week, based in the Plymouth area.

About The Candidate

To succeed, you should have the essential skills and experience outlined in the candidate information pack, plus:

• Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication.
• Experience working in customers' properties (desirable).
• Motivated with a positive attitude.
• Extensive technical management experience with domestic dwellings.
• Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.
