Job summary
COS is seeking an Assortment Planner to optimise regional assortments and product rankings, driving profitable growth. You will work with Buyers, Business Controllers, Merchandising, Marketing and regional teams to align plans and deliver the best commercial offers for customers.
You will monitor sales performance, market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities, plan stock levels, and support global assortment strategies while guiding junior team members.
Qualifications
- Experience in planning/buying/merchandising in fashion retail. Familiar with omnichannel dynamics.
- Proficiency with planning and assortment quantification software.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret product mix, price points and sales by region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise regional assortments and article rankings to maximise profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Plan article quantities, stock levels and seasonal product flows aligned with goals and budgets.
- Collaborate with Buyers, Business Controllers, Merchandising, Marketing and regional teams to align priorities.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and business performance.
