Job summary

Kiota Recruitment has partnered with a well-established pump rental provider in the UK. They seek a Regional Account Manager to cover Leeds and Hull, taking ownership of key regional accounts, building long-term relationships, and identifying project opportunities with Water Authorities and Tier 1/2 contractors.

This field-based role includes a salary of £65,000–£70,000 with bonus, a company car, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or account management experience.
• Experience in hire, rental, construction, utilities, water, or related sectors.
• Experience developing new accounts and growing existing accounts.
• Field-based sales with customer site visits.
• Strong relationship-building with a long-term account management approach.
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify profitable opportunities.
• Self-starter who can work autonomously across a regional patch.
• Strong communication, planning, and time management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop key regional accounts in the Leeds and Hull area.
• Support Water Authority and Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractor customers with project requirements.
• Build strong long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and site teams.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue across existing and new customer accounts.
• Produce accurate job pricing and quotations through the hire system.
• Own the quotation process, ensuring follow-up is completed quickly and professionally.
• Carry out site surveys and gather information to support technical and commercial solutions.
• Work closely with internal hire, sales, operations, and technical solutions teams.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across pump hire, installations, and related services.
