This role blends account management and business development, targeting high-end retailers and promoting a luxurious range of products. Regional Account Manager – South West & South Wales
The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Regional Account Manager with a proven track record in both new business and account management to join our client, a high end, premium manufacturer of beds and mattresses, in their high performing and ambitious sales team. Managing the Southern region, you will be responsible for strategically taking care of a portfolio of existing accounts of high end home furnishings retailers who will be both a mix of independents and National accounts at Regional level, ensuring that you are implementing an effective call cycle to visit each client regularly to provide them with up to date product information & training on our clients luxurious range of hand crafted mattresses, divans, headboards, bedding and related accessories, highlighting new lines, maximise brand presence and retail footprint, discussing promotions, and generally encouraging the retailers to promote and favor our clients range when speaking to their customer, the end user.
In addition, you will be expected to identify new business opportunities within your assigned territory, so being able to demonstrate that you are a structured and polished sales professional with the ability to uncover the correct decision maker, build relationships with multiple new stakeholders and ask the right questions in order to secure and close new business sales.
In addition to the face to face time with your customer base you will need to stay organised and report back to the business on sales performance, deliver insightful retailer feedback and competitor activities.
