You will supervise the collection crew, ensure health and safety compliance, help with loading when needed, and provide a high-quality service to residents and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate allocated refuse/recycling collection vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and Council procedures.
• Ensure all waste and recycling collections are completed efficiently while maintaining high health and safety standards.
• Assist with loading refuse and recycling containers when required to support service delivery.
• Use initiative to resolve collection issues, including contamination, access problems, and unique customer requirements.
• Support other collection crews and assist with route optimisation to improve service efficiency.
