Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking reliable outdoor workers in Leicester for a temporary bin loader role. You will follow a bin lorry on fixed routes to collect general, recycling, garden and food waste.

The job is physically demanding and requires you to walk throughout your shift in all weather. Start times from 05:30am, Monday to Friday; closing date 16 August 2026.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work experience is required.
• Previous loading experience would be a strong advantage.
• Must be able to travel to site on your own or live within walking distance.

Are you a fully flexible worker who prefers outdoor, physical work to sitting behind a desk or being stuck in a warehouse?

We are expanding our team of refuse, bin loaders in the local area ready for the busy summer months.
Going out with the rest of your crew, you will be following the bin lorry on set routes to collect general waste, recycling, garden waste and food waste bins. This is a physical role which requires you to walk throughout your shift in any weather. You will be reliable, a great team player and not be afraid of manual work.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.71 for the first 12 weeks, following this, your rate will increase to £13.07 per hour.Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.We do not offer Visa Sponsorships.

Working Hours: Shifts available throughout the week, Monday to Friday with start times from 05:30am.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous outdoor work experience is required. Previous loading experience would be a huge advantage. You must live within walking distance or have your own transport to get to and from work.
