Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking a Refuse Loader to join our waste collection team. The role is outdoor and physically demanding, with a Monday to Friday pattern and full training provided to ensure safe operation.

You will work alongside drivers and crew to collect household and commercial waste, loading bins onto vehicles and returning them to designated locations after emptying. PPE is provided, and weekly pay is typical.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
• Good level of fitness and stamina.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Previous experience in waste collection is beneficial but not essential (training provided).

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Refuse Loaders to join our waste collection team. This is a physically demanding outdoor role, working alongside drivers and crew members to collect household and commercial waste safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect household and commercial waste and recycling from designated routes.
• Load refuse and recycling bins onto collection vehicles.
• Return bins safely to their designated locations after emptying.
• Work as part of a team to complete daily collection rounds efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any issues or hazards to the driver or supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with members of the public.

Requirements
