Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable Refuse Loaders to join our waste collection team. This is a physically demanding outdoor role working Monday to Friday to collect household and commercial waste safely and efficiently.

The role offers full training and PPE, weekly pay, and potential ongoing work opportunities. The stated pay rate is £14.56 per hour, reflecting the physical nature and shift pattern of the job.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
• Good level of fitness and stamina.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Previous experience in waste collection or a similar manual role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Collect household and commercial waste and recycling from designated routes.
• Load refuse and recycling bins onto collection vehicles.
• Return bins safely to their designated locations after emptying.
• Work as part of a team to complete daily collection rounds efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any issues or hazards to the driver or supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with members of the public.
