Job summary

Adecco Portugal is recruiting a Refuse Collection Loader to join our team. You will perform daily refuse and recycling collections with safe lifting, using in-cab tech, and completing real-time paperwork, with pre-planned routes and set start/finish times to support work-life balance.

We value good communication, reliability, and a proactive attitude. Previous experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with safe lifting practices.
• Deploy in-cab technology and complete paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and vehicles and strong customer relations.
• Support colleagues and adapt to route changes as needed.

Refuse Collection Loader to join a team of valued key workers and help make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

As a Refuse Collection loader, you'll:

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal
• Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public

Your typical working hours will be:

• 6.00am to 4.00pm - Monday - Friday
