Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for Public Waste Collectors / Refuse Loaders to support a busy local authority waste management operation near Worksop on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a physically active outdoor role involving the collection of household and recycling waste across the local area.

Candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and starting work early in the morning.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required and own transport may be needed.
• Ability to commute for early morning starts from 6:00am.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in refuse collection, waste management, recycling or outdoor manual work is beneficial but not essential.
• Immediate starts available.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence required **we cannot consider candidates without a FULL UK Driving Licence and own transport**
• Ability to commute for early morning starts from 6:00am
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Previous experience within refuse collection, waste management, recycling or outdoor manual work is beneficial but not essential
• Immediate starts available

Pay & Benefits:

• £13.29 per houri
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates
