Job summary

East Midlands Councils is looking for a committed individual to join our refuse collection team in Derbyshire. The role is principally loading refuse, with possible other duties as required.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday with a 06:00 start, and occasional overtime may be required outside these hours due to service needs. Experience of working outdoors and in a physical role is beneficial; training will be provided where needed.

Job description

An enthusiastic individual is required to join our refuse collection team. This role will be principally one of refuse loading but may undertake other refuse duties.

This role will have a particular emphasis on the Councils curb side refuse and recycling collection services.

The successful candidate will be required to work task and finish Monday to Friday with a 06:00 start time. There may also be a requirement from time to time to work outside these hours due to the nature of the job. Overtime is paid after 37 hours weekly.
