Job summary

JT Recruit Ltd is seeking a reliable Refuse Loader / Waste Operative to join the team on a temporary basis with potential for permanency for the right candidate. The role involves loading commercial waste bins, assisting with routes, and maintaining safety on site, with early starts at 6:00am and minimum daily hours.

Prior experience is beneficial but not essential. The position is active and requires a hands-on, active individual who can start immediately and work well within a crew to ensure

Refuse Loader / Waste Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Refuse Loaders to join our team, assisting with the collection of commercial waste bins. This is initially a temporary position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading commercial waste bins onto the rear of the refuse collection vehicle
• Working alongside the driver and crew on designated collection routes
• Returning bins to their original locations after emptying
• Maintaining safe working practices at all times
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Working Hours

• 6:00am start each day
• Finish times may vary depending on the route
• Minimum of 8 hours' pay per day

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to work
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
