Job summary

Taskmaster Resources Limited is recruiting multiple Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste management team in the Peterborough area. The role involves manual lifting, daily travel around Peterborough, and adhering to health and safety rules.

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, communicate in English, and be physically able to walk 14–20 miles daily with long shifts from 6am to 4:30pm (occasional longer hours). The position offers ongoing opportunities with a well-established client.

Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit multiple Refuse Loaders to join the expanding team at one of our well-established clients based within the Peterborough area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually manoeuvring the waste into place for the lorry's lift for the refuse to be loaded and unloaded from the lorry
• Working as part of a close team, you will travel around the Peterborough area collecting the refuse waste along the way
• Follow and adhere to all health and safety requirements whilst on and off-site
• The position will involve heavy lifting and the potential of walking between 14-20 miles per day, so you must be physically able in order to succeed with the position

Requirements:

The successful Refuse Loader candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English for health and safety purposes. Applicants are required to complete an on-site induction before starting the position, and successful applicants must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. All PPE required will be supplied by Taskmaster for the position.

Working Hours: Tuesday -Friday: 6am-4.30pm but should be available until 6pm in unusual circumstances.
Pay Rate: £12.85 Per Hour
