Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Refurb Operative to process returned products through refurbishment, ensuring safety, quality and cosmetic standards are met. You will inspect, repair, test and pack items while following strict procedures and health and safety rules.

The role operates on a 07:15 – 17:30 schedule, four days on, four days off, including weekends and bank holidays. Experience in manufacturing or refurbishment and a strong eye for detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/refurbishment environment is essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality required.
• Ability to follow documented processes and work instructions.
• Basic IT skills and accurate data recording.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect returned products for visual, cosmetic and functional quality.
• Perform electrical safety checks and test functionality where required.
• Identify defects and replace damaged or missing components.
• Refurbish products according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Pack and prepare refurbished products for dispatch and maintain records.
