Job summary

ACH Refugee Integration Services Provider is hiring a Support & Integration Officer on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00. You will provide person-centred support to help refugees resettle and integrate, manage a caseload, and work with tenants to access services and build community ties.

You will carry out assessments, maintain case files, visit tenants, and coordinate referrals with external partners to foster independence and lasting social change.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with asylum seekers or refugees in paid or voluntary capacity.
• Experience of providing advice, guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support.
• Experience of creating support plans and completing needs assessments.
• An understanding of safeguarding in relation to vulnerable adults.
• The ability to assess, manage and continuously review needs and risks.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• As a Support & Integration Officer, provide person-centred support, advice and guidance to help refugees resettle and integrate.
• Manage a designated caseload, assess needs and risks, develop tailored support plans and provide culturally sensitive guidance across housing, finance, education, employment, health and immigration.
• Support tenants to build independence, access relevant services and develop social networks within their communities.
• Carry out pre-tenancy assessments.
• Maintain accurate case files and CRM records.
• Visit tenants at their properties and in the community.
• Organise house meetings and group trips.
• Make internal and external referrals to relevant services and build relationships with external organisations.
