Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for roles in Devon/Cornwall. The role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing refrigeration equipment in customer locations, and supporting HVAC systems with refrigeration circuits.

Candidates should have time served apprenticeship and refrigeration qualifications, with a full driving licence and 24/7 on-call flexibility. On-site travel and kit are provided along with a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification.
• Refrigerant Handling certification (C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB).

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales.
• Identify faults and advise on replacements.
• Complete PPM schedules and paperwork accurately.
• Maintain technical and compliance paperwork up to date.
• Order and fit parts as per procedures.
• Advise GSMs on repair/installation issues and build rapport.
• Carry out surveys and complete reports as required.
