Job summary

Omega Resource Group are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to work on a leading supermarket contract across Devon/Cornwall. The role focuses on maintaining, servicing and repairing refrigeration equipment in customer locations, including HVAC systems with refrigeration circuits.

The position is permanent with a basic salary of £46,700 and an OTE of £60,000. A full driving licence and on-call availability are required, along with time-served apprenticeship and formal refrigeration

Qualifications

• Time Served Apprenticeship and formal refrigeration qualifications are required.
• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration qualifications and an approved training program are expected.
• Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements.
• Ensure PPM schedules and paperwork are completed accurately.
• Complete technical/compliance documentation and order/fit parts.
• Advise GSMs of issues affecting store operations and maintain rapport.
• Carry out surveys and prepare reports as required.
