Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is representing a leading global HVAC & Refrigeration company recruiting a Refrigeration Engineer. You will diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of commercial and industrial plants using cutting-edge diagnostic tools on customer sites.

The role is field-based with an on-call rota, offering a base salary up to £48,000 with an OTE £65,000+, a company van, private medical insurance, enhanced pension and 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. Career progression is excellent.

Qualifications

• NVQ L2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Valid F-Gas certification.
• Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a field-based service technician or refrigeration engineer.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on commercial and industrial plants using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out planned maintenance, emergency repairs and commissioning on customer sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers and build long-term relationships.
• Participate in an on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of commercial and industrial plants and equipment using cutting-edge diagnostic tools.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown repairs and commissioning work on customer sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for your customers, building trusted, long-term relationships.
• Participating in an on-call rota

Who They’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a field-based Service Technician or Refrigeration Engineer.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence using diagnostic software, mobile apps and MS Office.
• NVQ L2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent industry related qualification
• A valid F-Gas certification (or equivalent).
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
