Job summary

Omega is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to maintain, service and repair refrigeration equipment for a major supermarket contract across customer sites. You will support HVAC systems containing refrigeration circuits and manage field-based maintenance tasks.

The role emphasizes timely PMs, accurate documentation, and compliance with electrical and refrigeration standards. A 40-hour week with on-call rotation and salary between £50k-£70k OTE is offered, with enhanced benefits and

Qualifications

Hydrocarbon training provided.
CO2 refrigeration training/certification provided.
IPAF 3a, b MEWPS training provided.
Electrical Fault Finding / Wiring Reg (18th Edition) training provided.

Responsibilities

Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales and response times.
Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line manager with recommendations for replacements.
Ensure PPM schedules are completed on time and paperwork is accurate and compliant.
Ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is up to date at all times.
Order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/RFM.
