• Salary: £50,027.05 (Total Salary including Standby Payment, Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits such as Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts)

Role Overview

This key position involves planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations. You will be the first line in service and maintenance of refrigeration equipment, providing assistance with HVAC systems containing refrigeration circuits. The role includes 24-hour service coverage through planned and extended hours, including standby rota participation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prioritize maintenance and repairs to meet response times.
2. Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements.
3. Complete PPM schedules and paperwork accurately.
4. Ensure all technical and compliance documentation is up to date.
5. Participate in out-of-hours standby rota and communicate cover requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

Essential

• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Qualification
• Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate
• Knowledge of Refrigeration, Electrical, Air Conditioning & Mechanical systems

Desirable

• BS7671 (IEE 16/17th)
• Experience in Commercial/Supermarket environments
• Machine Overhaul Skills
• Hydrocarbon Refrigerant and CO2 Refrigerant Training
