Job summary

Millers Vanguard is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service customer sites nationwide from a home base in the United Kingdom. You will attend reactive or preventative maintenance calls to repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment at customer sites.

You will communicate with the Operations Team on task progress and ensure proper stock and tool management in your vehicle. The role offers a structured training path, a full uniform, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• F-Gas certification required.
• C&G electrical qualifications/experience preferred.
• Walk-in fridge/freezer experience essential.
• Minimum City & Guilds Level 2 qualification.
• CO2 and hydrocarbon handling with 5+ years experience.
• Full valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites within your region from a home base.
• Respond to Reactive or PPM calls to repair/maintain equipment.
• Communicate updates to the Operations Team on tasks.
• Maintain stock, tools and equipment in the vehicle securely.

Job Description for a Refrigeration Engineer:

Due to significant growth in our customer base, we are now looking to recruit experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineers to join both our Reactive Engineering and planned preventative maintenance section.

Your Role as a Refrigeration Engineer:

• Based from home attending customer sites within your region
• You will attend Reactive or PPM calls to repair and maintain equipment on our customer sites
• Carrying out repair and maintenance activities within capability range
• To communicate on a regular basis with our Operations Team providing updates on work tasks
• To accurately and securely maintain all vehicle stock, tools and equipment

Our ideal candidate as a Refrigeration Engineer:

• F-Gas Certification
• C&G electrical qualifications/experience
• Walk in Fridge/Freezer experience
• Stable work history with good engineering skills
• Willingness to develop new skills and qualifications
• Minimum City & Guilds level 2 qualified.
• CO2 and Hydrocarbons and has a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Full driving licence
